Alright to start off.. I would like to introduce some of my all time favorite animes and of course the very first one goes to "Sailor Moon". I practically grew up watching this anime. Every morning I would wake up extra early just to watch the dub version on channel 11, well either that or tape it. Serena and the rest of the sailor scouts were probably the only female superhero cartoons during that time that little girls like us could idolize. Because let's face it majority of the cartoons then were either "Batman", "Superman", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" or "Power Rangers". But yes, this was definitely one of my favorite anime. Each character had their own different personality and style.. such as Serena (Usagi) "Sailor Moon" everyone knew she was the ditzy leader, Amy (Ami) "Sailor Mars" she was the sweet and smart one, Ray (Rei) "Sailor Mars" she was the serious one, Lita (Makoto) "Sailor Jupiter" she was the strong and tough one and Mina (Minako) "Sailor Venus" now her... I would like to think she was a little of everything, they never quite expressed what her personality was. There was also Serena's love interest, Darien (Mamoru) "Tuxedo Mask", in the beginning of the show you would see that he loves teasing Serena, but as the show progresses, they start remembering about their past love life. In this show they also had a bunch of bad guys who would summon all kinds of different monsters to drain energy from the humans, and it seems that every season the sailor girls would have a different transformation and power. Ok, enough about this I'm sure after all these years you guys would know what "Sailor Moon" was about, but if not too bad because these two dvd sets are no longer on sale.
